XPhone Virtual Directory 2011

XPhone Virtual Directory 2011 Service Release 2 innovations

The new functions of the XPhone Virtual Directory offer you even more possibilities to use your contact data in third-party systems. This is also made possible by additional interfaces to data bases (e.g. Lotus Notes, DATEV pro) as well as new end devices such as the smartphone-optimised Web interface.

FOR ADDITIONAL END DEVICES

New smartphone client

XPhone Virtual Directory 2011 can be used as a stand-alone product in future enabling you to access all of your organisation's contacts using up-to-date smartphones. And the best thing is: login is simply via the user's domain login data if required.

For system phones

Entirely without a PC: contacts can now be sought directly on SNOM, Siemens OpenStage and Alcatel system phones. A pop-up with details on the caller also provides information on Alcatel end devices using Sys-XPhone third-party supplier software.

NEW DATA SOURCES AND APPLICATIONS

Notes and other data sources

Linking public and personal Lotus Notes contacts as well as Datev Pro address data. Up-to-date address sources supplied by the "Das Telefonbuch Deutschland“ Web service are only a click away.

For XPhone solutions and other LDAP-enabled applications

XPhone Virtual Directory is the ideal extension for Unified Communications solutions and all other LDAP-enabled applications from which organisation contacts can be accessed. Contact photos can also be displayed when accessing personal Outlook contacts.

For cloud and IP-Centrex applications

Using XPhone Virtual Directory, local contact data can be easily made available to cloud applications via automatic export.
Or even the other way around: using local applications and end devices, access is possible to contact data from the cloud.

SOUGHT AND FOUND: ALWAYS THE BEST DATA

Advanced search

In connection with CTI applications and thanks to the advanced search feature, the company data record is now displayed when you receive calls from unknown extensions.

Prioritising address books

Data sources can be prioritised in order to identify callers. When the phone rings, the contact with the highest priority in the address data base is displayed.

Other advantages:

  • Exporting and importing data source and client interface settings for easily exchanging prepared programme settings between installations
  • Optimised Web client for the Intranet with photo from Outlook contacts
  • Exporting data as CSV, e.g. for provision in external applications or cloud services
  •
