A click of the mouse is all that is required to enable you to make phone calls from any application on your computer. Your office phone or mobile immediately sets up the requisite connection.

Equally effortless: accepting or transferring calls, performing swap holds or setting up conference calls. XPhone Unified Communications 2011 provides efficient telephony features wherever they are required. XPhone CTI functions integrate seamlessly with Microsoft Outlook (Exchange), Apple Mac or Lotus Notes and can also augment Tobit David.

A caller popup delivers all of the key information on the call even as the phone rings.

A single user interface for all telephony functions

XPhone Unified Communications 2011 merges a variety of communications such as telephone, mobile, fax, voicemail, text message and Instant Messaging in a standardised user interface, combining them with Presence Management and integrating them in your applications and business processes in line with the respective situation.

Contacts


Contains all integrated address books and phone book CDs which can be browsed simultaneously or individually.

Call manager

For up to five phones, e.g. the landline phone, an additional DECT phone and a mobile phone.

Info manager

Shows new calls and messages at a glance.

Call journal

Records all inbound and outbound calls for your end devices - even if your computer is switched off.


Favourites

Shows other team member´s presence and call statuses. Customer and partner phone numbers can be stored as speed-dial buttons and grouped as desired.



Address books

Several address books such as Outlook and Exchange, Access data bases, LDAP directories or ODBC data sources can be swiftly integrated without requiring any programming skills.

Always the correct phone number format

XPhone UC can handle practically any phone number format regardless of how they are saved in the address books.


Fax, voicemail, text message

You can open all faxes, voicemails and text messages received here. Alternatively, you can receive faxes and voicemails by e-mail.

Application integration

A wizard for linking applications helps you to design your workflows individually. Practically all local and hosted applications can be integrated.  


Compact view

The user interface can be easily reduced to a compact view and positioned anywhere on your monitor. It can also be faded out entirely and retrieved by hitting a single key.

Profile templates

Save the various presence statuses here which you wish to use. Define how long they are to remain active and how XPhone UC handles calls when the respective status is active.


 

Making phone calls with the XPhone UC Client

Use the XPhone UC Client to access all contact data, regardless of whether it is saved in your personal address book, your CRM or ERP system. The new hit display provides you with even faster access to your contacts - even including the presence and telephony status activated by your colleagues.

Simply enter the name of the person you wish to talk to and the phone call is set up.


All phone numbers to hand

One click is all that is required for access to all phone numbers available for your contacts - very practical when your contact person is not available in the office, for example. Instead of keying in phone numbers, simply click the requisite number on the PC and your phone starts to dial it. No more keying in wrong numbers when dialling.

Swap hold and callbacks

Swap hold in calls with several contacts or quick callbacks - easy at a click of the mouse.


Forwarding calls

Calls can be forwarded to a voicemail box or any other phone number, whereby it makes no difference whether you have already picked up the call or not.


Conference calls 

Conference calls have never been so easy. XPhone UC enables you to simply enter the names of contacts you wish to call and then press the "Dial" button.



 

Making calls from Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Exchange

XPhone Unified Communications 2011 enables seamless Computer Telephony Integration for Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Exchange. In future, make calls at a click of the mouse and search all address books from your Outlook client - regardless of which data base or address book the data comes from. The data from phone book CDs can also be integrated.

Making calls with Tobit David

XPhone UC 2011 augments your David client to include efficient telephony features. Augmenting Tobit software for David enables you to dial directly at a click of the mouse from your David client, e.g. from e-mails and contacts. This enables you to transform your David client into an entire communications centre.

Computer Telephony Integration for Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome

In future, you can click to dial or click to call from your browser. An XPhone browser plug-in integrates CTI features in practically any Web site and Web-based application - entirely automatically.

Making calls from Lotus Notes

Calls are easily and swiftly made at a click of the mouse directly from your Lotus Notes interface. Computer Telephony Integration for Lotus Notes is very simple with XPhone Unified Communications 2011 without necessitating installation of XPhone components on the Domino server.

Making calls directly from your applications

XPhone Unified Communications 2011 augments your individual applications and sector-specific solutions to include telephony features. This means that in future you can make calls directly from your customer data base (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics CRM), your ERP (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics NAV), the helpdesk system or other applications. Hotkey dialling

Make calls from practically any application by means of hotkey dialling. Select the phone number you wish to dial and then press [ALT]+[F12], for example. Your telephone immediately dials the selected number. XPhone Unified Communications 2011 thereby offers an integration option for practically all external systems. All standard number forms are supported with the result that you don't need to worry about how the number is written.


 

Automatic caller ID

All of your callers are automatically identified on the basis of their numbers.

XPhone automatically informs you as to who is calling and even shows you a photo of the contact if photos are included in your local Outlook contact links.

Accepting and forwarding calls, setting up conference calls

In future, pick up calls at a click of the mouse. Forward calls to colleagues and set up conference calls just as easily.


Scheduled calls

You can set up call reminders enabling you to be reminded of the call in time, and the call can be dialled automatically at a certain time if you wish.

Call lists

If you wish to make several calls in succession, you can create a call list. Simply select the requisite contacts in your address book list and enter a call date.


 

Create individual workflows

XPhone Unified Communications 2011 offers countless workflows to lighten your day-to-day workload. One click and you can send a letter or fax to a business partner, or send a co-worker an e-mail or text message with a call alert summarising the call and the caller´s key details.
